This is Your Freedom

Helping to make your Charity Challenge more effective and enjoyable.

1. Getting started

Pick a name
If you’re hoping to raise awareness of your project and its aims, your going to need a name. This should be treated as a brand so try to keep it short and memorable, as well as being appropriate to your project.

Website
As mentioned in Getting noticed | Promoting your project it is imperative to have a website if you want to really make the most of your project and attract maximum support and interest.

Logo
A nicely designed logo can help create brand awareness for your project, and add value to a mere website link on other sites.

Mailing List
This could be set up through your website or a blog, and will ensure that as you raise awareness about your project you’ll pick up emails from interested peoples along the way. This will enable you to keep people posted in your project’s progress, and build up what will hopefully be a good sized followship.

In early 2010 I will bike from Urshuaia, Argentina to Alaska. This will take me from the bottom of the South American continent to the top of North America. I’m doing it to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.
